The co-founder of a Mansfield Woodhouse-based homecare provider is set to join other CEOs in a sleepout to raise funds for charities that work with homeless people.
Scott Marsh, CEO and co-founder of Respectful Care, will be joining a number of other CEOs and sleeping rough for a night at the ground of Notts County Football Club on Thursday October 5.
The CEO Sleepout event is to raise awareness of the plight faced by many homeless people.
It is also about raising funds to support local people and donations will be split between the Friary drop-in centre for the homeless in West Bridgford and the Emmanuel House support centre on Goosegate, in Nottingham city centre.
Scott, who needs to raise £1,000, says: "I often wonder about the life journey of homeless people and how they fell on hard times.
"I want to help raise the awareness of homelessness and poverty in Nottinghamshire, so I decided to take part in the CEO Sleepout Nottingham. Any donations are welcome and together we can make a difference to someone's life."
